CLAY COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER SPAY AND NEUTER PROGRAM – Surrounding Counties Welcome!
On the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 5 a.m., in partnership with the Alabama Spay and Neuter Clinic we transport animals to their Birmingham Clinic.
LOCATION FOR DROP-OFF/PICKUP: Delta Community Center, 57 Delta Church Rd, Delta, Alabama
We have two options to participate:
MAY SPECIAL!!! FOR OPTION 1
Option 1: Family Assistance Program: $10 Per Pet ****MAY SPECIAL*****
This program is a low-cost spay/neuter program to help qualified households get their pets fixed for just $10 each (MAY ONLY). To qualify, a household member must be enrolled in a government assistance program (e.g., Medicaid, WIC, Disability, EBT) and provide proof. Participants can have up to THREE pets sterilized for $10 per pet.
Option 2: Low Cost Snip-it-Ticket (includes $10 Transport Fee):
- Cat – Male Neuter: $63
- Cat – Female Spay: $78
- Dog – Male Neuter: $80
- Dog – Female Spay: $93
PLEASE NOTE
You have NOT secured your spot on transport until you have submitted this form (including payment) AND are contacted by the Alabama Spay and Neuter Clinic in Birmingham (205 area code). The clinic will confirm your appointment and also ask for proof of rabies vaccine and eligibility for Family Assistance Program (if needed).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- PAYMENT is required to participate.
- Rabies vaccine is required and is an additional $30 ($15 – MAY SPECIAL from Family Assistance Program). If your pet already has the rabies vaccination you will be asked to provide proof.
- Additional pain medication is available for $30 charge.
- Snip-it-Ticket Costs (includes $10 Transport Fee).
